NewGenDeveloper (“we”, “us”).
Gantry is a control application for GRBL/CNC machines. It can talk to your machine in two ways:
The app is a tool for operating your own equipment — it is not a social, advertising, or data-broker product.

Gantry does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, or crash/usage tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your information. The app does not require you to create an account with us, and does not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or device identifiers for our own use.
On launch the app opens a connection to its configured backend server (the “server” indicator in the header). In the Google Play version that server is a demonstration server we operate. That connection exists so you can try the simulator; it carries no G-code or machine data unless you choose to connect the simulator (or another machine) through it.
If you connect through the demonstration server, the program you load and the commands you send are processed there only to run the simulator for you. The demonstration server only offers the built-in simulator. It does not keep the programs you load or anything else you create in the app (such as machine profiles or settings backups), and does not list any of it to other users. Like any server it may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and time of connection) for security and reliability.
If you run your own backend, you are the controller of the data on it and it does not reach us.
Gantry offers optional one-time in-app purchases (feature packs). Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing: Google processes the payment and we never receive your card or payment details. On each start the app asks Google Play which packs you own on your Google account; that ownership information is used on your device to unlock features and is not sent to any server of ours. The app may occasionally ask you to rate it using Google Play’s own in-app review prompt.
Preferences and the access token remain on your device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. Data held by a backend you run is retained and secured according to how you operate that backend. We use industry-standard measures for any service we directly operate, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Everything Gantry stores for you — machine profiles, preferences and the saved connection form — is on your device. To delete it, open Android Settings → Apps → Gantry → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. The demonstration server keeps nothing of yours to delete; the only thing its hosting provider may hold is brief connection logs. Gantry is a tool for operating machinery and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You can remove locally stored data at any time via your device’s app settings (clear storage) or by uninstalling. For anything held by a server we operate, contact us to request access or deletion. Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK, California), you may have additional rights under the GDPR/CCPA.
We may update this policy; we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or store listing.
